The programme will include a wide range of topics: from microbiology to production and utilization of biogas, from digestate post treatment and best use in agriculture to life cycle and life cost assessment. A study tour will take place on the last day of the conference (September 9th).
The visits will be devoted to both municipal and agricultural biogas plants operating in Torino and Cuneo Provinces.
The Biogas Science 2018 will be organized by the Department of Agricultural Forest and Food Sciences (DISAFA) of the University of Turin and will be held at the Lingotto Conference Center - few metro stations away from downtown Turin.
