By combining criogenic upgrading technology and CO2 capture, the biogas produced from manure in an agricultural farm in Spain is converted to biomethane. The removed CO2 is used to grow algal biomass to facilitate the anaerobic digestion process. The produced biomethane is injected into the natural gas grid via a truck, fuelled with biomethane, while the digestate becomes fertilizer.
